Compliance status

SurveyFriends is partially compliant with the French General Accessibility Improvement Framework (RGAA).

Test results

The compliance audit conducted by MIS Group reveals that 58 % of the criteria in RGAA version 4.1.2 are met.

Inaccessible content

Following the audit conducted under RGAA 4.1, several mandatory compliance criteria were not met on the various pages of the SurveyFriends website. These issues concern images, contrast, scripts, forms, structure, navigation, and keyboard or mouse interactions in particular.

1. Image alternatives — criteria 1.6 and 1.7

  • Images that convey information do not always have a detailed or relevant description.
  • Recommendation: provide a full description in adjacent content or through an appropriate accessible link.

2. Contrast — criteria 3.2 and 3.3

  • Some text or interface components have insufficient contrast.
  • Recommendation: achieve a ratio of at least 4.5:1 for normal-sized text.

3. Media — criteria 4.9 and 4.13

  • Some alternatives provided for media are not sufficiently meaningful.
  • The compatibility of some media with assistive technologies needs to be improved.
  • Recommendation: provide accessible transcripts or alternative descriptions.

4. Scripts and dynamic content — criteria 7.1, 7.3 and 7.5

  • Some scripts cannot be operated using a keyboard or do not convey their state correctly to screen readers.
  • Recommendation: provide the required roles and states, then test the scripts with NVDA and VoiceOver.

5. Information structure — criteria 9.1 and 9.2

  • The heading hierarchy is not always consistent.
  • The use of HTML5 semantic tags remains incomplete.
  • Recommendation: structure each page with a heading hierarchy and clearly identified regions.

6. Display without styles or with magnification — criteria 10.3, 10.4, 10.6, 10.11, 10.13 and 10.14

  • Some content becomes difficult to understand when styles are disabled or text is enlarged to 200 %.
  • Some content shown on focus or hover is not accessible using a keyboard.
  • Recommendation: test pages without CSS and at 200 %, then make all interactive elements usable with a keyboard.

7. Forms — criteria 11.4 and 11.10 to 11.13

  • Labels are not always correctly associated with their fields.
  • Some input validation does not provide a sufficiently clear error message or suggestion.
  • Recommendation: associate each field with a label and provide appropriate accessibility and autocomplete attributes.

8. Navigation — criteria 12.3, 12.4, 12.6, 12.8, 12.9 and 12.11

  • The website does not yet have a skip link or a dedicated sitemap page.
  • Some elements cannot always be reached using a keyboard.
  • Recommendation: add the missing features and check the tab order.

9. Undoing actions — criterion 13.11

  • Some actions, particularly in windows or dynamic interactions, cannot always be cancelled or controlled.
  • Recommendation: allow major interactions to be cancelled or confirmed.
